Information

A Belgian-style Pale Ale brewed with whole cone Ernest hops and fermented with an expressive Belgian yeast strain, giving rise to a deliciously fruity character with big citrus and stone fruit notes alongside clove and black pepper spice. 


This is a classic European beer style that’s associated with the daily ‘liquid bread’ ration of the Trappist monks and isn’t often seen outside of their abbeys. Pours a pale yellow straw colour with soft, buzzy carbonation and thick white foam. There’s no shortage of the characteristic bubblegum aroma to compliment the bready malt but the esters don’t overwhelm and it’s a well rounded, refined affair. Crisp, light and easy drinking, moderately bitter with a dry finish.
