Light and supremely drinkable, our Kölsch is brewed with German Pilsner malt and Tettnang hops and fermented at elevated temperatures with a yeast strain originating from the Köln region to encourage fruity ester development. It’s delicately balanced with grainy-honey sweetness from the malt and very light hopping keeping bitterness low and contributing a freshly mown grass element… but it’s the muted notes of Starburst, sweet white wine and rhubarb from the yeast esters that make this beer, lending a moreish integrity to a wonderfully simple foundation.
