Description
Once a stalwart of the British pub, excellent versions of this classic style from the likes of Five Points and Boxcar have recently helped to bring it to the attention of a new audience. Copper coloured with a bright white head, Maris Otter and Aromatic malts provide the perfect base for fruity and floral English hops to shine.

Tasting Notes
Spicy orange on the nose, underpinned with caramel and biscuit from the malt. The Challenger hops give citrus freshness and a green tea note, with an earthy layer from the Fuggles. It’s bitter, obviously, but also super smooth and easy drinking with a dry finish.

What The Hell Was I Thinking?
Best Bitter and UK hops are one of those perfect combinations - each contributing equally to create a beautifully balanced beverage, with fruity esters from the yeast to add another layer of deliciousness. Beers like Coniston Bluebird, RCH Pitchfork and Harvey’s Best marry full flavours with delicate complexity and were the inspiration for this brew.
