A hazy and hoppy modern Barley Wine leaning towards the American version of the style, generously hopped with El Dorado, Calypso, Citra and Mosaic.
Pale orange with a dense white foam; sweet, jammy fruit jumps from the glass along with intense floral notes and a solid structure of toffee and malted cereal. Smooth and syrup-y sweet - melon, mango, passion fruit - with a full, clean bitterness maintaining balance and drinkability. The ‘wise king’ of beers. A beer to savour; a beer for a special day.
